Each day is an opportunity to live more freely, and I’m passionate about achieving this through creative expression, self improvement, happiness, and love. I’m also passionate about motivating others to achieve the same.
The challenge to fight my inner critic, fear, negativity, destructive habits, and anything else that prevents me from living free, is one that I choose to face daily. I choose to engage in that battle, despite the energy and persistence it requires, because in the end, I view it as the only option for true fulfillment.
I struggle and I fail all the time, but I keep going, knowing that each day is an opportunity to improve. Each day is an opportunity to learn from past mistakes. Each day is an opportunity to live more freely.
It is the main motivation of humankind to be free, to express our true selves and pursue our dreams without restriction.

For the past fourteen years I’ve worked at the University of Illinois leading a small team of marketing, communications, and web professionals. It’s creative work at the intersection of three areas: strategy, design, and digital.
My educational background includes formal training in both architectural studies and graphic design, with a degree in design from the University of Illinois.
Personally
I love to create art and over the years I’ve discovered that I will forever bounce between different media. Sometimes I do watercolor landscape paintings and other times I write and produce music. I enjoy collaging, illustrating, writing, making videos, and taking photos.
Art is a way to express myself and although I love to hone my skills, I also love to keep this space free of competition. It’s a way to explore and let go.
