Squeeze Chart – Call "Suicide" or "Safety"
May not be used with 2 outs.
With the infield (or corners) in refer to the next letter on the chart (eg: B becomes a C). Roll all three dice. The single die determines the fielder (1, 2 or 3 = pitcher, 4 or 5 = 1st baseman, 6 = 3rd baseman). Total the other two dice and refer to this chart. Note: The fielder determined by the single die roll is used for a reading of defense.

Speed
Batter lays down a great bunt and he has a chance to beat it out for a single. Roll the 20 sided die and if it falls within his running range score it a Single, runners advance 1 base. If the split falls outside his running speed range score it a sacrifice, runners advance 1 base.
Sac
Batter lays down a good sacrifice bunt, runners advance 1 base.
Bad
Batter lays down a bad bunt, the lead runner is thrown out by the fielder.
Pop
Batter pops out, runners hold their bases.
DP
Batter pops out into a Double Play! Lead runner doubled off, other runners hold.
1 and 2
Safety Squeeze: Pitcher throws a ball and then batter fouls off two pitches. Offensive manager must decide whether or not to take off the squeeze. If he stays with the bunt and this reading occurs again, the batter is out on a strikeout.
Suicide Squeeze: Batter attempts bunt but misses the pitch, the runner on third must steal home!
Defense
Batter drops down a bunt and the defense has the option of throwing the batter out at first (score this as a Sacrifice) or trying to throw out the lead runner (the batter is then automatically safe). Compute the lead runners safe range as (max. safe range is 1-19): For Safety Squeeze: running speed minus 6 plus fielder defense rating. For Suicide Squeeze: running speed minus 2 plus fielder defense rating. For example, the lead runner's running rating is 1-14 and a suicide squeeze is bunted to the first baseman, whose fielding rating is 2. The lead runner's safe range is 1-14.
